NHL: Minnesota 4, Pittsburgh 3

ST. PAUL, Minn., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Guillaume Latendresse scored a goal and assisted on three others Monday, leading the Minnesota Wild past the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-3.

The win was the third straight for Minnesota.

Latendresse's goal sent the Wild ahead with 13:47 remaining in the third period and Minnesota goalie Niklas Backstrom kept the Penguins scoreless the rest of the way.

Erick Belanger, Martin Havlat and Cal Clutterbuck provided the other goals for the Wild and Backstrom ended up with 35 saves.

Sidney Crosby, Pascal Dupuis and Mark Eaton scored for Pittsburgh, which has lost seven of nine.

Penguin goalie Marc-Andre Fleury had 20 saves.
