NEW ORLEANS, Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Chris Paul hit the game-winning shot as time expired Monday to give the New Orleans Hornets a 103-100 victory over the Indiana Pacers.
Paul scored 27 points and added nine assists and five rebounds to lead the Hornets, who have won back-to-back games for the first time in 17 days. Peja Stojakovic, who hit five three-pointers, scored 26 points and Rasual Butler 17 for New Orleans.
Hornets center Tyson Chandler left the game with 3:19 left in second quarter with a left ankle injury. Hornets power forward David West sat out with a back injury.
Indiana's Danny Granger led all scorers with 30 points. Teammate Troy Murphy had 17 points and 11 rebounds.
