SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 27 (UPI) -- Greg Maddux earned his 355th big league career victory Saturday while helping the LA Dodgers record a 2-1 win over the San Francisco Giants.

Takashi Saito earned his 18th save this season with a 1-2-3 ninth.

Losing pitcher Matt Cain (8-14) surrendered two earned runs and eight hits in seven innings with four walks and six strikeouts for the Giants, who have lost four of their last five games.
