
SAN DIEGO, Sept. 14 (UPI) -- Pablo Sandoval scored the winning run Sunday on a 10-inning wild pitch in the San Francisco Giants' 8-6 win over San Diego.
The errant toss was thrown by losing pitcher Dirk Hayhurst (0-2) with no outs in the top of the inning.
Rich Aurilia capped the two-run 10th by drawing a bases-loaded walk.
Omar Vizquel had two RBI. Three others drove in one run each. Travis Ishikawa had three hits and four players had two hits for the Giants, who won three times in the four-game series.
The winning pitcher was Sergio Romo (2-1).
San Diego's Edgar Gonzalez had three hits and two RBI. Four players knocked in one run and Will Venable had two hits for the Padres, whose losing streak grew to three straight games.
The Giants won the season series 13-5.
