CINCINNATI, May 14 (UPI) -- Paul Janish's single in his major league debut drove in the winning run in the 10th Wednesday and Cincinnati, despite blowing a big lead, downed Florida 7-6.

The Marlins scored six times in the ninth inning to tie it, but Cincinnati scraped out a run against Renyel Pinto (1-2) in the 10th.

Pinto struck out the first two men in the inning, but then walked David Ross and Paul Bako. Pitcher Johnny Cueto came in to run for Ross and scored when Janish singled to right for his first major league hit.

Janish was called up earlier in the day from Class AAA Louisville to take the roster position of shortstop Jeff Keppinger, who was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a broken kneecap.

The win went to Jared Burton (2-1), who worked the top of the 10th.

Cincinnati starter Bronson Arroyo threw seven shutout innings, but the Reds' bullpen suffered a meltdown in the ninth that concluded with a three-run, game-tying homer by Cody Ross.

Cincinnati has won the first three games of the four-game series.
