NHL: Florida 6, Boston 3

BOSTON, Feb. 9 (UPI) -- Richard Zednik scored his 14th and 15th goals of the season Saturday to lead the Florida Panthers to a 6-3 win over the Boston Bruins.

Zednik's 14th goal knotted the contest 1-1 at 13:11 of the first period and his 15th created a 2-2 tie at 11:08 of the second.

Goals by Olli Jokinen and David Booth gave Florida a 4-3 lead after the second period.

Nathan Horton and Ville Peltonen both scored in the third when Jay Bouwmeester assisted twice.

Tomas Vokoun made 38 stops on 41 shots for the Panthers, who have won seven of the last eight contests against the Bruins -- and have outscored the opposition 25-13 in their last five games.

Boston's Glen Murray and Marco Sturm both had a goal and an assist. Zdeno Chara scored once and Tim Thomas gave up six goals on 27 shots for the Bruins, who have dropped three of four.
