NHL: Dallas 3, Vancouver 2 (SO)

DALLAS, Feb. 6 (UPI) -- It took six rounds of a shootout Tuesday before Brenden Morrow's wrist shot over Vancouver goalie Roberto Luongo's right shoulder secured a 3-2 win for Dallas.

Stars goalie Marty Turco sealed the win moments later when he snuffed Taylor Pyatt's final attempt.

Morrow scored another goal and had an assist in regulation for the Stars, who are riding a four-game winning streak. Jere Lehtinen also scored and Turco finished with 22 saves.

The Canucks' goals came from Markus Naslund. Luongo managed 32 saves as Vancouver lost three in a row and eight of its last nine overall.
