NHL: Buffalo 4, Boston 2

BOSTON, Feb. 5 (UPI) -- Daniel Paille scored two goals Tuesday, pacing the Buffalo Sabres to a 4-2 victory over the Boston Bruins.

Toni Lydman and Thomas Vanek added a goal each for the Sabres, who have won four of their last five games.

Ryan Miller was back in goal for Buffalo after leaving his last start with a lower body injury. He ended with 30 saves.

P.J. Axelsson had a goal and an assist and Mark Stuart a late goal for Boston. Bruins goalie Tim Thomas stopped 24 shots.
