NBA: Charlotte 105, Memphis 87

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 19 (UPI) -- Jason Richardson had 38 points and 14 rebounds Saturday to lead the Charlotte Bobcats to their first-ever win over the Memphis Grizzlies 105-87.

The Bobcats had lost the previous six contests to the Grizzlies, dating back to the 2004-05 season.

Gerald Wallace added 28 points and seven steals and Raymond Felton had 11 points and nine assists for Charlotte, which has won three of its last four games.

Pau Gasol had 28 points and Juan Carlos Navarro scored 21 for Memphis, which has lost six of seven. Rudy Gay had 17 points and nine rebounds for the Grizzlies, who got just five points off the bench -- all from Kyle Lowry.
