NBA: San Antonio 94, Chicago 79

SAN ANTONIO, Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Tony Parker paced six players in double figures with 28 points Wednesday, boosting San Antonio to a 94-79 win over Chicago and its new coach.

The Bulls played for the first time under the guidance of former assistant Pete Myers, who took over when Scott Skiles was fired on Christmas Eve. Chicago lost its third straight.

Michael Finley added 15 points for the Spurs, while Bruce Bowen, Ime Udoka and Matt Bonner all had 12. Tim Duncan scored 11.

San Antonio's Manu Ginobili sat out the game with a sprained left index finger.

The Bulls were led by Joe Smith with 19.

San Antonio trailed by one after the opening quarter, but started the second period with a 13-3 run and did not fall behind again. The Spurs led by 12 at halftime and put the game away with an 11-0 surge in the fourth period.
