Robredo wins, Youzhny out at Austrian Open

KITZBUHEL, Austria, July 27 (UPI) -- Top-seeded Spaniard Tommy Robredo won his second-round match, but second-second Russian Mikhail Youzhny fell Thursday at the Austrian Open.

Robredo easily handled Juan-Pablo Guzman of Argentina, 6-1, 6-4.

Youzhny was eliminated by Austrian Alexander Peya, 7-5, 6-0 -- and the event also lost its third seed, as Juan Carlos Ferrero of Spain was surprised by Italian Andreas Seppi, 7-6 (7-3), 4-6, 6-2.

Fourth seed Juan Ignacio Chela of Argentina beat Austrian wild card Daniel Koellerer, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2; fifth-seeded Argentine Juan Monaco beat countryman Mariano Zabaleta, 6-1, 2-6, 6-3; and sixth-seed and defending champion Agustin Calleri out-lasted Austrian qualifier Rainer Eitzinger, 6-3, 7-6 (7-4).

Other second round winners included Nicolas Almagro, Florian Mayer, Philipp Kohlschreiber and Potito Starace.
