MLB: Cincinnati 6, San Francisco 3

CINCINNATI, July 5 (UPI) -- Bronson Arroyo allowed three earned runs and seven hits over 6 2/3 innings Thursday night as the Cincinnati Reds beat San Francisco, 6-3.

Cincinnati's Ken Griffey Jr. hit a two-run double in the fourth. Four others drove in a run, and Josh Hamilton had two hits and scored three times for the Reds, who have split their last four games.

Arroyo (3-9) -- who helped himself with a solo home run in the bottom of the second, and was 0-7 since his last win -- walked two batters and fanned four.

David Weathers recorded his 16th save.

San Francisco's Rich Aurilia, Mark Sweeney and Ryan Klesko each drove in one run. Aurilia had three hits, and Fred Lewis had a run and two hits for the Giants, who have split their last 10 games.

Losing pitcher Matt Morris (7-5) surrendered six earned runs and seven hits in six innings, with three walks and six strikeouts.
