MLB: Baltimore 5, Toronto 2

BALTIMORE, April 21 (UPI) -- Adam Loewen and three relievers combined on a seven-hitter Saturday night as the Baltimore Orioles beat Toronto, 5-2.

Miguel Tejada had one hit and two RBI, Corey Patterson and Kevin Millar hit RBI singles, and Melvin Mora hit a sacrifice fly. Patterson had two hits, and Chris Gomez had two runs and two hits for the Orioles, who have a four-game winning streak.

Loewen (2-0) yielded two earned runs and five hits in 5 2/3 innings, with seven walks and four strikeouts.

Chad Bradford and Danys Baez threw 2 1/3 scoreless relief innings, and Chris Ray recorded his sixth save of the season.

Adam Lind and Royce Clayton hit RBI singles, Clayton had two hits, and Alex Rios had a run and two hits for the Blue Jays, who have lost four in a row.

Loser Josh Towers (1-2), a former Oriole, gave up five runs -- four earned -- and nine hits in five innings.
