NBA: Minnesota 105, Orlando 104 (OT)

ORLANDO, Fla., April 1 (UPI) -- Ricky Davis scored 36 points and sank a three-point shot with 11.5 seconds left in overtime Sunday as the Minnesota Timberwolves edged Orlando, 105-104.

Minnesota had a slim 54-53 advantage at the half, but Orlando used a 12-0 run to pull within 89-87 with 6:00 left in the fourth. The game was tied at 98 when regulation ended.

In the overtime, Minnesota had a 7-6 advantage, thanks to Davis, who scored their final 13 points, including the seven in the overtime.

Kevin Garnett had 22 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists. Mike James scored 12 points, and Marko Jaric had 12 points and four rebounds for the Timberwolves, who broke a three-game slide.

Grant Hill scored 23 points to lead Orlando. Reserves Darko Milicic and Trevor Ariza each scored 18 points, while Dwight Howard had 19 rebounds for the Magic, who fell 1/2 game behind idle New Jersey for the seventh seed in the Eastern Conference.
