NBA: Atlanta 105, Houston 99

ATLANTA, Feb. 23 (UPI) -- Joe Johnson scored 31 points Friday night and capped a fourth-quarter run that boosted the Atlanta Hawks past Houston, 105-99.

The Hawks got 20 points from both Josh Smith and Marvin Williams while winning for the second time in five games.

Houston was led by 37 from Tracy McGrady and 23 from Rafer Alston.

The Rockets took a one-point lead with just over five minutes remaining in the game, but Atlanta went on an 8-1 surge to move in front for good. Johnson hit a jumper that ended the run with 3:12 to play.
