MLB: Chi. Cubs 11, Milwaukee 4

MILWAUKEE, July 9 (UPI) -- Angel Pagan and Aramis Ramirez homered Sunday afternoon to help the Chicago Cubs beat Milwaukee, 11-4, for their third win in a row.

Ramirez had one run, three hits and two RBI; Matt Murton hit an RBI single and a sacrifice fly; Juan Pierre had one run, two hits and three RBI; Jacque Jones had three runs and three hits; and Todd Walker had two hits for the Cubs (34-54), who went into the All-Star break with four wins in their last five games.

In five innings, winner Glendon Rusch (3-7) gave up two runs and four hits with two walks and five strikeouts. He was an emergency starter after Mark Prior developed a muscle strain.

Carlos Lee hit a two-run homer, Rickie Weeks hit a solo shot, and Prince Fielder had an RBI single for the Brewers (44-46), who have a three-game losing streak.

The losing pitcher was Doug Davis (5-6).
