Webb has first 54-hole lead in four years

WILLIAMSBURG, Va., May 13 (UPI) -- Karrie Webb posted a 5-under 66 Saturday to stay in the lead heading into the final round of the LPGA Michelob Ultra Open at Williamsburg, Va.

Webb, at 13-under 200 through three rounds, is five shots ahead of Lorena Ochoa, Pat Hurst and defending champion Cristie Kerr. Her lead moved from three shots to five shots when Hurst double-bogeyed the 18th hole.

That mistake left Hurst with a 2-under 69 on Saturday. Ochoa made a move with a 6-under 65, continuing her rebound from an opening-round 73. Kerr reached 8-under 205 with a 70 in the third round.

Hee-Won Han is alone in fifth place at 207 after a 69. Jeong Jang is one shot further back in sixth following her second consecutive 70.

Webb has won 16 tournaments when leading after three rounds, but this is the first time since 2002 that she has led after 54 holes.
