NEW YORK, March 18 (UPI) -- Jaromir Jagr became the NHL's first player to reach 100 points this season with a goal and three assists in the New York Rangers' 5-2 win over Toronto.
Jagr reached the 100-point plateau for the fifth time in his career -- but the first since 2000-01, his final season with Pittsburgh. Jagr has 46 goals and 54 assists this season -- two points better than San Jose's Joe Thornton.
Petr Sykora scored twice and Petr Prucha and Michael Nylander each had a goal and two assists for the Rangers. Henrik Lundqvist stopped 33 shots for New York, which maintained a two-point advantage over Philadelphia for first place in the NHL Atlantic Division.
Jason Allison had a pair of goals and Tomas Kaberle added two assists for the Maple Leafs, who have lost eight of their last 11 games. Toronto goalie Mikael Tellqvist made 19 saves.
