NBA: L.A. Lakers 104, Orlando 88

ORLANDO, Fla., Dec. 23 (UPI) -- Kobe Bryant scored a team-high 21 points Friday night as the Los Angeles Lakers beat Orlando, 104-88.

It was a far cry from Bryant's 62-point output against Dallas Tuesday, but was enough to help the Lakers (15-11) run their modest winning streak to two in a row. Lamar Odom had 18 points, eight boards and six assists while Smush Parker had 16 points, six boards and five assists.

Orlando lost star forward Dwight Howard to a sprained right ankle in the first two minutes of the contest and lost despite a hefty 46-34 rebounding edge.
