MLB: New York Mets 7, Milwaukee 4

MILWAUKEE, May 6 (UPI) -- Mike Piazza moved up on the all-time home run list with two of them Friday night as the New York Mets defeated Milwaukee, 7-4.

Piazza has 383 career homers, putting him 49th in the history of the majors. He moved past Jim Rice and Frank Howard with his two home runs Friday night.

New York won for the fifth time in six games with Mike Cameron adding a two-run homer and David Wright a solo shot.

Victor Zambrano (2-3) allowed three runs on six hits in 5 2/3 for the win. Milwaukee loaded the bases in the ninth, but Braden Looper got the save when Carlos Lee lined into an out.

Milwaukee had won seven games in a row.

Piazza hit home runs in each of the first two innings, both of them solo affairs.
