Federer, Ljubicic in Rotterdam final

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands, Feb. 19 (UPI) -- World No. 1 Swiss Roger Federer and Croatian Ivan Ljubicic will meet Sunday in the final of the indoor ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament.

Federer defeated Croatian Mario Ancic packing 7-5, 6-3 triumph in one of Saturday's semifinals.

Federer, reigning Wimbledon, U.S. Open and Masters Cup champion, returned to the courts this week after losing to Russian Marat Safin in the Australian Open semifinals three weeks ago.

In the other semifinal, Ljubicic beat 1998 Rotterdam winner Thomas Johansson of Sweden, 7-6 (7-4), 7-5. Ljubicic was last week's Marseille runner-up.
