DOHA, Qatar, Jan. 7 (UPI) -- Top-ranked Roger Federer won his 20th consecutive match Friday and moved into the finals of the Qatar Open.
Federer defeated Nikolay Davydenko, 6-3, 6-4, and will take on Ivan Ljubicic in the championship match on Saturday.

Ljubicic eliminated Albert Costa, 6-3, 7-6 (7-4).
Federer's last loss came in the second round of the Athens Olympics in August. He won 11 events in 2004, including three legs of the Grand Slam.
Federer, 23, will be trying for his 23rd career championship Saturday.
