Milwaukee 107, New York 100

MILWAUKEE, Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Sam Cassell scored 24 points and Michael Redd added 22 Saturday night as the Milwaukee Bucks continued their strong play with a 107-100 victory over the New York Knicks.

Redd scored four points during a 7-2 spurt that gave Milwaukee an 84-73 lead with 6:43 left, and Cassell added a three-pointer to restore an 11-point advantage, 88-77, with 5:12 remaining.

The Bucks led by at least six points over the final 10:51, despite playing with a flu-ridden Ray Allen, who managed only 12 points but chipped in eight rebounds.

Anthony Mason added 12 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists against his former team, helping the Bucks to a commanding 48-33 advantage on the boards.

Tim Thomas and Jason Caffey scored 14 points apiece for the Bucks, who earned their 10th win in 12 games and completed a sweep of the three-game season series.

Allan Houston scored 31 points for the Knicks, who fell to 2-9 on the back end of back-to-back games. They posted a 108-102 victory in Memphis on Friday.
