Boston 7, Calgary 2

BOSTON, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Glen Murray recorded his fourth career hat trick and a season-high four points Tuesday night as the Boston Bruins won their seventh straight at home with a 7-2 victory over the Calgary Flames.

The 30-year-old Murray, who returned to the organization last season from Los Angeles in the Jason Allison trade, leads the team with 13 goals in 21 games and is second on the club with 26 points.

Marty McInnis opened the scoring with 9:54 remaining in the first period with a wrist shot that sailed over goaltender Roman Turek. Just 40 seconds later, Murray took advantage of a turnover alongside the right boards in the Calgary zone by defenseman Toni Lydman for his first tally of the night and a 2-0 Bruins lead.

Murray caught rookie Jordan Leopold on a bad change and backhanded a feed from Joe Thornton down the slot for his second goal and added his third when he put in the rebound of a missed breakaway attempt by Thornton.

The Flames have lost seven of eight and had their road record dip below .500 for the first time this year (4-4

2).

Turek returned after a seven-game absence with a thumb injury on Saturday night to make 32 saves against Chicago and help end his team's seven-game losing streak. But Turek could not help on Tuesday as he allowed three goals in the first period and was pulled in a game for the first time since April 6, a 3-1 loss to Nashville.

Calgary scored early in the second when Jarome Iginla beat an out-of-position John Grahame on the power play for his fifth goal of the year. Martin Gelinas added his team-leading seventh tally in the third.
