MIAMI, Sept. 15 (UPI) -- Pinch-hitter Javier Lopez capped a six-run sixth inning with a grand slam Sunday to carry the Atlanta Braves to a 6-4 victory over the Florida Marlins.

Lopez crushed a 2-0 pitch from Florida reliever Graeme Lloyd over the right field fence for his second grand slam of the season and sixth of his career. He has 10 RBI in the first three games of this four-game set.

Atlanta starter Damian Moss (11-5) allowed two runs and four hits in five innings. He has won a career-high four straight decisions and improved to 2-0 lifetime against Florida.

John Smoltz, the fifth Atlanta pitcher, tossed a perfect ninth for his 51st save.

Replacing an injured Julian Tavarez in the roation, Justin Wayne (1-2) gave up four runs and five hits in 5 1/3 innings and was charged with the loss.

Charles Johnson and Kevin Millar homered but the Marlins lost for the ninth time in their last 13 games.

Millar extended his hitting streak to 21 games, tying Greg Colbrunn for the third longest in frachise history. Mike Lowell doubled in the bottom of the sixth inning to extend his streak to 13 consecutive contests with a hit.
