MCLEAN, Va., March 12 (UPI) -- The U.S. Army has contracted BearingPoint Inc. to supply logistics, management and maintenance support services.
U.S. company BearingPoint was awarded the contract from the Army's Product Director, Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services organization.
The contract, worth $21.5 million over two years if all options are exercised, BearingPoint will support PD ALTESS with acquisitions, program management, strategic business planning and other services. PD ALTESS supports the Army with information management and information technology services.
"BearingPoint has been providing services to PD ALTESS for nearly four years," Mary Cassidy, BearingPoint Army and Air Force sectors vice president, said in a statement.
"We are happy to continue this support and appreciate the confidence PD ALTESS has placed with BearingPoint via this award."
