Officials said that with the DoDIIS certifications, government agencies that process intelligence information under Director of Central Intelligence Directive 6/3 can now implement the JackBe software technology. The Presto software mashup, a composite of different media files, is designed to efficiently and securely leverage internal and external data.

"Presto's certification is a testament to the value mashup-driven situational-awareness solutions have to agencies and groups like the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Defense Information Systems Agency," John Crupi, JackBe chief technology officer, said in a statement.

"We are excited and honored to have the opportunity to work with organizations like the DIA and DISA on national security initiatives."
