Officials say the Pronto4 Armor Enclosure is designed to offer hardware protections for the Pronto4 vehicle autonomy system from shrapnel and other possible dangers during live fire exercises. The release of the Pronto4 Armor Enclosure is part of an effort to extend the life cycle of the optionally unmanned ground vehicle.

"The armor enclosure extends the life of the Pronto4 system when used in training, testing and evaluation applications," Troy Takach, Kairos Autonomi president and chief executive officer, said in a statement.
