CHICKS' 'LANDSLIDE' HOTTEST SELLER

The Dixie Chicks' remake of the Fleetwood Mac smash "Landslide" is the fastest-growing single at retail, Billboard.com reports.

The song is currently No. 7 on the all-genre Hot 100 after reaching No. 2 on Billboard's country singles chart.

The Chicks' "Travelin' Soldier" is now No. 2 on the Billboard country chart behind Gary Allan's "Man To Man," the list's new leader.

Former No. 1 "The Baby" by Blake Shelton fell into the third spot on the country chart while "Brokenheartsville" by Joe Nichols rose from No. 7 to No. 4 and Mark Wills' "19 Somethin'" is No. 5.


SHANIA ON CANADA'S WALK OF FAME

Country superstar Shania Twain is among 11 Canadians being inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame in Toronto this summer.

She joins Robbie Robertson of The Band, comedian Mike Myers, NHL coach Scotty Bowman and other prominent Canadians whose names will be permanently inscribed in the walk on June 25.

Born Eilleen Regina Edwards in Windsor, Ontario, in 1965, Twain moved to her mother's hometown of Timmins, Ontario, as a child after her parents divorced.

The inductees came from 250,000 ballots received from the public, according to the walk's Web site, canadaswalkoffame.com.


ALLISON KRAUSS ORDERED TO REST VOICE

Allison Krauss is the latest country artist ordered into a period of vocal rest, CMT.com reports.

The Vanderbilt Voice Center told the bluegrasser to give her vocal cords a rest after an evaluation on Thursday.

Randy Travis and Keith Urban were given similar orders over the past several weeks.
