LOS ANGELES, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Lifetime's Britney Spears biopic has found its Justin Timberlake.

Actor Nathan Keyes will play a younger version of the 35-year-old singer in the network's movie Britney. Lifetime confirmed the news Wednesday by retweeting word of the casting.

Buzzfeed also reported that Lifetime alum Clayton Chitty will portray Spears' ex-husband Kevin Federline. Nicole Oliver will play Spears' mom, Lynne Spears, with Matthew Harrison as Spears' dad, Jamie Spears.

Hail, Caesar! actress Natasha Bassett was previously announced as Britney Spears. Lifetime described the movie in August as following the "tumultuous true story" of the 34-year-old singer's personal life and career.

Spears and Timberlake met as teens on The New Mickey Mouse Club and dated from 1999 to 2002. The couple split amid rumors Spears had cheated, although the pair appear to be friendly today.

"Sure!" Timberlake told E! News this month when asked if he would collaborate with Spears. "Absolutely, absolutely ... I'm accessible! Give us a call!"
