Taylor Lautner: Britney Spears tried to set me up with Jamie Lynn

LAS VEGAS, Sept. 28 (UPI) -- Taylor Lautner says Britney Spears tried and failed to play matchmaker with him and her sister.

The 24-year-old actor confirmed the 34-year-old singer once attempted to set him up with Jaime Lynn Spears after Scream Queens co-star John Stamos revealed as much in an interview with Billboard at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Festival.

"Can I tell a little secret?" Stamos asked the reporter. "Britney tried to fix Taylor up with her sister one time. Jamie Lynn."

"It was a few years ago," Lautner admitted. "A long time ago. We did not go out."

Stamos previously prodded Lautner about his love life during the Television Critics Association press tour in August. The 53-year-old Fuller House star got the younger actor to discuss his brief romance with Taylor Swift.

"It was a good time," Lautner told Entertainment Tonight at the time. "It was a fun few months there."

"That's what she does. She writes songs," he added in a Facebook Live interview after confirming Swift wrote a song about him. "It's called 'Back to December.'"

Lautner, who plays Dr. Cassidy Cascade on Scream Queens, was last linked to model Raina Lawson. Jamie Lynn Spears, meanwhile, married Jamie Watson in 2014 and shares an 8-year-old daughter with her ex-fiancé.
