LOS ANGELES, Dec. 17 (UPI) -- Matt Bomer delighted fans by dancing to "Hotline Bling" on Wednesday's episode of American Horror Story: Hotel.

The 38-year-old American actor performed as Donovan to the Drake hit, channeling the 29-year-old Canadian rapper's moves from the song's music video.

Donovan nearly completes the chorus before Elizabeth (Lady Gaga), aka the Countess, cuts his dance short to confront him about Rudolph (Finn Wittrock). The pair make up before they are interrupted by Liz (Denis O'Hare) and Iris (Kathy Bates).

"Most of the fun I've had has been with Stefani, Lady Gaga," Bomer previously told Details. "We've gotten to do a lot of really fun and really intense scenes together. She's so intelligent and gracious and down to earth and kind that it's been one of the most fun times I've ever had on set.

American Horror Story: Hotel takes place in a sinister Los Angeles hotel and co-stars Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters and Wes Bentley. The FX horror anthology series will return from mid-season break Jan. 6 at 10 p.m. ET.

Bomer is also known for playing Bryce Larkin on Chuck and Neal Caffrey on White Collar. He starred in The Normal Heart and Magic Mike XXL, and is slated for The Nice Guys with Russell Crowe and The Magnificent Seven with Denzel Washington.
