"I apologize to my neighbors I'm still screaming in my apt in NY! I'm nominated as an actress for a Golden Globe what a dream is this real!" Lady Gaga tweeted after the nominees were announced.

Vikander, whose film A Royal Affair was nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the 2013 ceremony, told Entertainment Weekly she was stunned to hear she'd been nominated for not one, but two awards.

"I heard the news that I'd been nominated and I freaked out," she shared. "And then a little while later I heard the news again and I couldn't even freak out. I was too overwhelmed. I just didn't know what to do. I just got off the phone with my parents. It's crazy, really."

Lady Gaga made her major TV debut on Hotel this year, playing the elegant but sinister hotel owner Elizabeth, aka the Countess. The actress recently told Billboard she joined the FX series "to create something extremely meaningful by exploring the art of darkness."

Vikander, meanwhile, is being lauded for her portrayal of Gerda Wegener, wife to transgender artist Lili Elbe (Eddie Redmayne), in The Danish Girl. She also received praise for her turn as Ava, an A.I. seeking personhood, in Ex Machina, starring Domhnall Gleeson.

The 73rd Golden Globe Awards will take place on Jan. 10. Lady Gaga is rumored to next appear in Machete Kills in Space, while Vikander is slated for The Light Between Oceans with Michael Fassbender and a new Jason Bourne movie with Matt Damon.
