LOS ANGELES, April 14 (UPI) -- Linda Gray's publicist says the former "Dallas" star is gearing up to reprise her role of Sue Ellen in the pilot for a new version of the nighttime drama.

Gray is scheduled to head to Dallas next week to start work on the show, her representatives said in a release Thursday.

The cast of the updated edition of "Dallas" includes Gray's past co-stars Patrick Duffy and Larry Hagman, as well as newcomers Jordana Brewster, Jesse Metcalfe and Josh Henderson.

The original "Dallas" ran from 1978 to 1991 and followed the exploits of the wealthy Ewing family.
