Christoph Waltz to serve as presenter at the Oscars

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 20 (UPI) -- Austrian actor Christoph Waltz is to serve as a presenter at this year's Academy Awards show in Los Angeles, producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced.

Waltz's fellow 2013 Oscar-winning stars -- Daniel Day-Lewis, Jennifer Lawrence and Anne Hathaway -- were previously announced as presenters for the March 2 event. Ellen DeGeneres is to serve as host of the ceremony, which will air live on ABC.

Waltz earned his two Oscars for Best Supporting Actor for his performances in films by writer-director Quentin Tarantino -- 2008's "Inglourious Basterds" and 2012's "Django Unchained."
