BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Singer-songwriter-producer Pharrell Williams is to perform his Oscar-nominated song "Happy" at the Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

Telecast producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron announced they booked Williams Tuesday.

Williams, a seven-time Grammy Award winner, wrote and produced "Happy" for the animated movie "Despicable Me 2." It is nominated for Best Original Song.
