LOS ANGELES, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Kelly Ripa detailed her new partnership with Motrin for the Unstoppable Moms campaign and opened up about the intricacies of motherhood during a recent interview with Us Weekly.

"There's nothing about [motherhood] that's a 9-5 job, it's a full-time job," said Ripa, who has three children with husband Mark Consuelos.

Her campaign with Motrin looks to get fellow mothers to share their parenting tips on the brand's Facebook page, and according to Ripa, the campaign has been very inspiring.

"We didn't know what we'd expect, we didn't know what we'd find, these stories of women who really were going above and beyond the call of duty in their families and in their communities and we were so inspired by these women," she said.

As for how she handles her own set of kids -- Lola, Joaquin and Joseph -- the actress said she tries to get stuff done while her children are in school.

"My kids get me up way before my day actually would start for work, I have to say. Around 6 a.m. That's civilized; that's not an unheard-of thing," she said. "...We have breakfast together, walk to the bus stop, drop off the two older kids, walk home then I leave for work. I take my youngest to school because his school is very close to where I work, then I go to my job."

She added that se often forces herself to exercise because it helps her "think clearer" and "feel stronger."

"It gives me that energy at the end of the day, when you're starting to fade, I still have energy," she said. "I know it's because I worked out that day, because I feel terrible when I don't. I feel lethargic when I don't. So I force myself to do it and I do that when my kids are in school because that's the time I have to do it."
