OMAHA, July 14 (UPI) -- Omaha resident Tom White enjoyed 15-minutes of fame Monday after posting an unlikely selfie next to Paul McCartney and Warren Buffett on Instagram.
In the photo captioned "Chillin with my homies" the 16-year-old boy smiles at the camera with a thumbs up as McCartney and Buffett sit on a bench in the background.
White's viral photo is only one of many taken by local residents on the evening of July 13 when the former Beatle and the business magnate met for dinner and ice cream in Omaha.
According to Mashable, McCartney was in Nebraska for an upcoming show in Lincoln on Thursday and Buffet lives in Omaha.
The famous picture however, might not be a selfie after all. White's friend Luke Koesters -- who also posted the snapshot on social media -- told Mashable that a third friend, Jacob Murray, was the one who took the viral "selfie."
Koesters told the Huffington Post that White and other friends headed over to the ice cream shop to have McCatney autograph a guitar upon learning he was in the area. While the singer's bodyguard told the teens that no autographs or handshakes where allowed, they could take as many pictures as they wanted.
