NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J., June 9 (UPI) -- Kevin Roper, the Walmart truck driver who was charged with death and assault by auto for killing one person and injuring four others, including comedian Tracy Morgan, in a crash on Saturday, has reportedly changed the aggressive driving description he had in his Twitter bio before the incident.
"Trying to win more than lose! Driving trucks for a living it's my road move or get hit! #Walmart," read Roper's biography on the social media site, according to the NYDY.
Now, the phrase has been changed to: "Trying to win more than lose! Driving trucks for a living #Walmart."
While a spokesperson for Walmart has said the account is not real and that "Mr. Roper has not had and does not have any involvement on social media," an alleged friend of the driver confirmed the veracity of the account.
The 35-year-old Jonesboro native turned himself in after he was charged with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto in the six-vehicle accident.
Morgan's comedy writer, James McNair, was pronounced dead at the scene during Saturday's accident. The actor, along with three others, were transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, N.J. Morgan was last listed as being in critical condition.
The comedian's limo-bus driver has said Morgan was "screaming for help" before he was pulled from the car.
Morgan's limo-bus, two tractor-trailers, two cars and an SUV were involved in Saturday's incident in New Jersey. Officials said the accident was caused by one of the tractor trailers as the driver "failed to observe slow-moving traffic ahead" and "swerved to try and avoid the Mercedes limo" at the last minute, forcing it to overturn.
