KERRY KENNEDY: Human-rights activist and author Kerry Kennedy has pleaded not guilty in New York's North Castle Town Court to driving while ability impaired.

The plea stemmed from her July 13 car crash after which police said she failed multiple sobriety tests and slurred her speech.

TMZ quoted her as saying in court Tuesday she hadn't been on drugs when she drove her car into a tractor-trailer, but rather suffered a seizure as a result of an old head injury.

She admitted in court she may have told police after the accident she had taken an Ambien sleeping pill before the collision, but now believes she was mistaken and tests showed "no alcohol, recreational drugs or prescription medication in my system," TMZ reported.

Kennedy said she underwent an MRI after the crash and the test revealed "an area of hyper density" in her brain, which she said is related to an old head injury.

"This accident was caused not by a sleeping aid but by a complex partial seizure," Kennedy said.

She is due back in court next month.

Kennedy, 52, is the daughter of the late U.S. Sen. Robert F. Kennedy and Ethel Skakel Kennedy. She is the ex-wife of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo and mother of his three children.

THE WHO: British rock band The Who announced Wednesday plans for a North American concert tour during which they'll perform "Quadrophenia" in its entirety.

In addition to playing the iconic 1973 rock opera, the group will perform a selection of Who classics during the concert series, which will kick off its initial six-week run Nov. 1 in Sunrise, Fla. The Who will return to the United States in late January with more dates, commencing Jan. 28 in Anaheim, Calif.

Founding Who members Roger Daltry and Pete Townshend will be joined by Zak Starkey on drums, Pino Palladino on bass, Simon Townshend on guitar/backing vocals, Chris Stainton on keyboards and Loren Gold and Frank Simes on keyboards/backing vocals.

The AEG-promoted 36-date tour is the band's first North American series of shows in four years.

ROBERT DeNIRO: Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer and Tommy Lee Jones have signed on for roles in French filmmaker Luc Besson's "Malavita," the action comedy's producers said.

EuropaCorp and Relativity Media said Dianna Agron and John D'Leo have joined the cast of the film, which is set to go into production this summer.

Adapted by Besson from the book "Badfellas" by author Tonino Benacquista, "Malavita" tells the story of the Manzonis, a notorious organized crime family who gets relocated to Normandy, France, under the witness protection program.

The film is set for a 2013 release.

ALISAN PORTER: Singer-songwriter and former child actress Alisan Porter confirmed to People.com she has given birth to a son, Mason Blaise Autenrieth, in the Los Angeles area.

The 31-year-old "Curly Sue" star married Brian Autenrieth, 34, last March. Their baby weighed 7 pounds and was 20 inches long when he was born Tuesday, People.com said.

"We are all very in love," Porter said on Twitter, posting a photo of her husband's daughter, Cassie, holding her new brother.
