E! News said the private family ceremony at the cemetery's Great Mausoleum lasted about an hour.

The mausoleum also is the final resting place of movie stars Clark Gable and Jean Harlow, as well as pop singer Michael Jackson, Taylor's longtime friend.

A public memorial is being planned for Taylor, her publicist said.

Judge Randy Jackson stopped Abrams' performance by waving his hand.

"This is crazy wrong," judge Steven Tyler told Abrams. "We've made the decision here to keep you on."

LUDACRIS: Hip-hop star Ludacris is to perform a post-game concert at Atlanta's Turner Field this spring, Major League Baseball said.

The hourlong show will follow the May 14 game between the Atlanta Braves and Philadelphia Phillies as part of 2011 Civil Rights Game Week.

The Atlanta-based rapper has sold more than 12 million albums domestically and won three Grammy Awards. He also acts and has appeared in the films "Crash" and "Hustle & Flow."

"I'm a fan of baseball, and I am honored to be a part of MLB's family and tradition of being a pioneering organization for civil rights, social justice and equity," the entertainer said in a statement issued by MLB. "I have studied the strides made in baseball and in sports, and the impact they have had on social issues affecting race and race relations in America. The Civil Rights Game Week is a celebration of those achievements and a reminder of our ongoing responsibility to continue leveling the playing field for all."
