NEW YORK, Sept. 16 (UPI) -- "The Oprah Winfrey Show" is to leave its home base of Chicago this week to be taped in New York's Central Park, producers said.

The New York Post said Friday's live show is to feature appearances by Mariah Carey, Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa.

The episode is slated to shoot at the park's SummerStage, near 69th Street and Fifth Avenue in Manhattan, starting at 10 a.m., rain or shine, the newspaper said.

Winfrey kicked off her show's 24th season last week with a Windy City block party, featuring performances by the Black Eyed Peas, James Taylor, Rascal Flatts and Jennifer Hudson.
