'Life' tops U.S. record chart

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- Kelly Clarkson's "My Life Would Suck Without You" is No. 1 on the U.S. record chart this week, Billboard.com reported Thursday.

This marks the biggest leap in the Billboard Hot 100's 50-year-history, the magazine noted. Clarkson's latest single went from No. 97 to No. 1 after selling 280,000 digital downloads in the first week it was available.

Coming in at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 is Lady GaGa's "Just Dance" featuring Colby O'Donis, followed by Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" at No. 3, Kanye West's "Heartless" at No. 4 and Taylor Swift's "Love Story" at No. 5.

Rounding out the top tier are the All-American Rejects' "Gives You Hell" at No. 6, T.I.'s "Live Your Life" featuring Rihanna at No. 7, The Fray's "You Found Me" at No. 8, Britney Spears's "Circus" at No. 9 and Jason Mraz's "I'm Yours" at No. 10.
