LOS ANGELES, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Cable TV staple MTV is gearing up for the next go-round of its popular talent competition, "America's Best Dance Crew," producers say.

The Randy Jackson-produced show enters its third season Jan. 15, with actor Mario Lopez returning as emcee, Zap2it.com reports. Also returning are judges J.C. Chasez, Lil Mama and Shane Sparks.

As in previous seasons, the judges and TV audience will narrow down competing dance crews until one is crowned "America's Best" and rewarded with a $100,000 prize.

MTV said the upcoming season will be "the most physically demanding" for the contestants, Zap2it.com said.
