GLOUCESTER, Mass., May 28 (UPI) -- A 64-year-old Massachusetts woman has been placed on probation for a year after she crashed her car into a vehicle carrying actress Sandra Bullock.

Lucile Gatchell pleaded guilty Tuesday to drunken driving and failing to stay within marked lanes, Essex, Mass., prosecutors told The Boston Globe.

District Court Judge Joseph Jennings also ordered Gatchell to complete an alcohol safety education program. Her driver's license is to be suspended for 60 days, as well, the report said.

The charges stemmed from an April 18 incident in which Gatchell drove her station wagon across the center line on East Main Street in Gloucester, then crashed it into the sport utility vehicle carrying Bullock, her husband, TV star Jesse James, and their driver.

No one was injured, the Globe said.

Bullock had been in the area working on the romantic comedy "The Proposal" at the time of the accident.
