Spears runs over photographer's foot

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 19 (UPI) -- Britney Spears allegedly ran over the foot of a TMZ photographer as she was leaving a Beverly Hills, Calif., medical building, TMZ.com reported Friday.

Spears stopped the car, temporarily trapping the photographer's foot underneath.

TMZ.com said Spears looked shocked once she realized what she had done but didn't get out of the car to see if the photographer was hurt.

The photographer went to the emergency room but no bones were fond to be broken.

In related news, People.com reported Spears reached a financial agreement with the owners of the car damaged in her alleged Aug. 6 hit-and-run in a San Fernando Valley parking lot.

"It's approximately in the $1,000 range," her lawyer J. Michael Flanagan said.

Kim Robard-Rifkin, owner of the 1999 Mercedes-Benz station wagon that Spears hit with her Mercedes convertible, should be getting the check soon.

Robard-Rifkin couldn't be reached for comment.

Spears's two misdemeanor criminal charges of hit and run, causing property damage, and driving without a valid California driver's license still stand, however, if the court sees proof of Robard-Rifkin's compensation, the hit-and-run charge will likely be dropped, Flanagan said.

Spears was issued a California license on Oct. 2.

Her arraignment is set for Oct. 25.
