BEACHWOOD, N.J., July 30 (UPI) -- Singer Alexa Ray Joel came out in support of her mother, Christie Brinkley, at a recent New Jersey concert over the much-publicized affair of her stepfather.

The New York Post reported the 20-year-old singer dedicated her new song "Jaded" to betrayed women at the concert and admonished all cheating men allegedly like her stepfather, Peter Cook.

Cook allegedly has been cheating on Brinkley with 19-year-old Diana Bianchi and the exposure of the affair two weeks ago has sent Brinkley and her other children, Sailor and Jack, to live in an undisclosed location, the Post said.

When asked in her first interview since news of the affair spread, Ray Joel, who is the product of Brinkley's first marriage to pop legend Billy Joel, spoke about her half-siblings but would not comment about her stepfather.

"My mom's doing a great job of protecting them from the media," she told the Post of her brothers.

"Don't even go there. We don't need to fan the flames," she added regarding Cook.
