Sheen's family restrictions extended

LOS ANGELES, July 14 (UPI) -- Charlie Sheen agreed to an extension of a restraining order that restricts him to one supervised visit per week with his two daughters in Los Angeles.

The extension came in lieu of a hearing that was supposed to take place this week to arrange custody of 2-year-old Sam and 1-year-old Lola, e! online reported.

Sheen's estranged wife Denise Richards filed for divorce in March 2005, at which time she requested sole custody of the children. The couple briefly reconciled but Richards announced plans to move forward with the proceedings in January.

She then filed a declaration in April, saying Sheen was abusive and addicted to drugs, pornography and gambling. Sheen said Richards' claims were "false allegations." He wants joint custody of their children.

The extended restraining order is in effect until Aug. 14, and the hearing has been postponed until Sept. 12. They will both appear in court to argue over what questions are allowed in the depositions, e! online said.
