LOS ANGELES, April 7 (UPI) -- The Lifetime cable network is teaming up with Matt Dorff and Bill O'Dowd for a trilogy of Monday Night movies centered around a theme of "Island Heat."
The series of female-driven thrillers will all be set in the Caribbean and shot in Puerto Rico, Daily Variety reported Friday.

Dorff is writing and will executive produce the made-for-TV movies along with O'Dowd.
"Smallville's" Erica Durance will star in the first installment, "Island Heat: Stranded," about a bride whose bachelorette party goes wrong.
Air dates for the trilogy have not yet been set.
