Adam Sandler, Chris Rock team for new film

HOLLYWOOD, May 31 (UPI) -- Adam Sandler's production company will back Chris Rock's comedy "The Gilmores of Beverly Hills," a fresh collaboration for the stars of "The Longest Yard."

Sandler and Happy Madison's Jack Giarraputo will produce the movie Rock wrote about the misadventures of a lower-income black family living in Beverly Hills, Calif., the Hollywood Reporter said Tuesday.

Rock is to star in the film.

Happy Madison, which has a non-exclusive deal with Revolution Studios and Columbia Pictures, will set up production at Paramount Studios, sources told The Hollywood Reporter.
